Cat season

When it was winter, there were some snow cats
poped up around our garden.
This is one of them waiting for snow birds.

Now, it's spring time!

The snow cats are no longer with us.

And a sleepy flower cat is here,
snoozing in the spring sun.

Spring has come

After the snowy winter, colours of spring are everywhere.

My creative buds should be blooming like these flowers.

Snow dome

We had a big winter blast from Antarctica last week.
One of our cats loved it but the other one didn't.
So I captured her inside the snow dome keeping her warm
during her snow expedition.

Caffeine

at the Brooklyn Art Library.
It would be a great fun visiting this exhibition seeing all the fantastic work.

This is one of my sketches from the sketchbook project work.

And I've been re-working on it using water colour.
This looks more like Caffeine the cat himself.

Digitally collaged with vintage coffee ads.

Felting moment

I found some fleece wool in my cupboard.

These are the left overs from the projects I have done with
felting needles.

They were fun to make but the sharp needles could be
very painful if I wasn't very careful.

So, this time and for the first time,
I've tried wet method without needles.
What's going to be like...
Wait and see.

Birthday card

It's so easy to buy a beautiful looking birthday card.
But it's not so special for someone's special day, is it?
If you are like me, and a little bit short for the original sparkling idea time to time.
This site is very helpful for pop up card makings.
I made a few changes from the original template and slit on the right holds
a little message for the happy occasion.
Hand made rose petal paper and a paper doily turned into
an envelope for the card.

New year, new art season

Hi there!
Have you got any exciting plans for the new year?
I'm planning to do more art work this year and participated in the sketchbook project recently.
